Roy Young travelled to Vancouver, Canada to compete in the World Age Group Triathlon Championships. Due to bad sea conditions the race was changed to a duathlon. Roy put in an excellent performance to claim 11th place in the 40 - 44 age group.

Melissa Dowell entered the Beulieu Middle Distance race in preparation for her Iron man race and put in a stunning performance to finish 4th female overall and 1st Female vet. This was despite swimming through jellyfish!!!

Graham Perks got his season off to a solid start in the Fritton Lake Standard Triathlon, Great Yarmouth with a 2nd place finish.

Wattisham Tri and Cambridge Duathlon:

This weekend a couple of brave Born 2 Tri members took on the Wattisham Sprint Tri and Cambridge Duathlon. In the sprint Tri Joolz Halpin followed-up her impressive T2 Duathlon result by winning her age group at Wattisham. Jonathan Davies also took part at Wattisham and has provided us with an excellent race report. It is a very informative and enjoyable read.

Roy Young entered the Cambridge Triathlon in his first season as a veteran and destoyed the vets field to win his age group and finish 4th overall. Impressive results from both.

Born 2 Tri Members London Marathon results.

Born 2 Tri Members 1/2 Marathon exploits.

Three Born 2 Tri members took part in the Great Bentley Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd February 2008. They put in some great early season performances in cold and blustery conditions. Members results are shown below:
